Our straw marquetry Squid Ink Table is intriguing and sophisticated with a peculiar mystical hue. Similar to the squid ink, which has the ability to lower the water's surface tension, causing the ink particles to spread out and form a diffused cloud, acting as a smokescreen.
 
Moreover, just like in Mediterranean cuisine, where squid ink has been used for centuries in various culinary traditions to add a distinctive flavor and deep black color to dishes, the specialty of our table works same way: it sheds light on the objects surrounding or standing on it, showcasing their finest qualities.
 
Squid Ink Table has a unique allure, which can be described as slightly salty, and reminiscent of the ocean which its tints of blue and light grey. Its looks is not overpowering, but it can significantly enhance the overall  impression of the interior. 
 
Our Squid Ink Table was imagined to create visually striking palettes, showcasing the contrast between the black ink and other colourful pieces around.
