The artwork was conceived from a photograph that caught Lucy Ivanova's attention. It portrays a private event from the summer of 2022 at garden of one mansion in Vienna, where a concert unfolded within the garden of his residence. The intertwining of urban spaces deeply resonated with the artist, serving as a profound wellspring of inspiration.
Lucy Ivanova, a Ukrainian artist born in 1989 in Dnipro, graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Theater and Arts College in 2009 and later, in 2015, from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Lucy Ivanova is represented by The Naked Room gallery (Kyiv). Currently residing and working in Vienna, Lucy primarily engages with painting, graphics, sculpture, and video. Her artistic process revolves around channeling personal experiences into her work, molding and transforming them over time through an intimate engagement with the materials she employs.
