Flora collection

The Diurne collections originated from the vision of painter Marcel Zelmanovitch, who sought to bring his creations to life using fabric and Tibetan craftsmanship.

The Fleurs Artifices Rug belongs to "Des fleurs & Des fleurs," where a delicate graphic design is beautifully paired with soft and fresh colors, evoking the essence of a new spring. This Rug is inspired by the work of Raoul Dufy through the application of color.

Raoul Dafy (1877 – 1953) was a French Fauvist painter. He developed colorful, decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles, as well as decorative schemes for public buildings. He was also a draftsman, printmaker, book illustrator, scenic designer, a designer of furniture, and a planner of public spaces.

Take a look on few paintings Basket of Flowers (1924) and Train En Gare (1935) in the gallery of Fleurs Artifices Rug to see how Dufy’s paintings impacted rug design
